Introduction: Pressure injuries in the hospital burden the organizational resources and negatively affect the quality of life of patients. The purpose of this study was to review the use of bedside technologies for the early detection of pressure injuries, which include pressure-related erythema erythematosus (PrBE), non-erythematous pressure-related erythema (PrNBE), and deep tissue injuries (DTPI).
